We’re here to give you the “what”, “why”, and “how” of this new development.

And um, we’re super excited.

 

What:

This is for you, as an artist to get your work out there, online. 
It’s no new news that the internet is the pearly hub where everything happens now-a-days. The seas parting deserts from forests are no longer a barrier that stand between you and the success of your work. So get yourself acquainted with Starry Nights very own Amazon Art Gallery!

 

Why:

Well, we’re offering this opportunity to our Exposure Artists and Residency Artists as one extra tidbit to promote their success. You see, we don’t just represent you at the fair and call it quits, we don’t just accept you to our residency and then wish you on your way- we represent you beyond the walls of the art fair, beyond your stay at the residency, and put your work at the fingertips of 200 million buyers. We consider our programs an investment into your future, not just a one-time purchase. We have a long term strategy built in to the programs to continuously bring value to the lives of artists and help them along their path to success. Once a Starry Night artist, always a Starry Night artist. Why? Because we believe in you.

Another thing: Amazon currently does not allow for individual artists to post and sell their artwork on Amazon Art; only galleries. So, this is a HUGE perk and an opportunity for you to get involved in! You get to still be responsible for your own work, but on the upside, we’ll simply help you with exhibiting your work on Amazon through us.  In other words, we’ll be  your portal to this dynamic selling platform.  

 

How:

By following these steps:

• Well, first you gotta become a Starry Night Artist! You can do that in 2 ways- via the Exposure Program and/or via the Residency Program.
• After we get to know you, and we determine that an Amazon partnership will work, we get you going on the detailed, but well worth it, on-boarding process.
• Then, we’ll gather all the information required by Amazon to post your work on their website, which is A LOT of information. Amazon is serious.
• You’ll get the information to us.
• Your work will be posted online in our gallery and will be ready for sellin’!
• Once a piece sells, you will make arrangements to ship your work in a set time-period and then you’ll get paid! Yeah!

Like we said earlier, being a part of one of our programs is really an investment into your future. If you’re like so many of us- individual artists trying to make our way in life- you are excluded from so many “career-turning” opportunities like Amazon Art. That’s why we’re here, to be that bridge for you. To walk you to the plate, to give you a boost, etc. You get the point.
