A Fine Mess by Kate Jessup

Kate Jessup created an 8-foot by 10-foot permanent mosaic installation at Starry Night called A Fine Mess. A conscientious environmentalist, she collected extra scrap tile from the United Tile Company where she worked, donated a crate weighing over a ton to Starry Night, and used it to create this piece. A Fine Mess was installed on a cinder block and glass block wall which was constructed by Ms. Jessup and Starry Night founder, Monika Proffitt.  It was completed in June 2011 over the course of three furious, work intensive weeks. Her contribution to Starry Night is greatly enjoyed and deeply appreciated by Starry Night AIRs and staff.
